As a repairman, I'll tell you the case is the safest place for your saxophone. As a player, I'll tell you the hardest part of practicing is opening it. This stand is the answer to both.
Designed by saxophone repairman Mike Borkovic. The grip surface uses thousands of tiny rubber fingers that hold your horn firmly without scratching the lacquer, plating, or bare brass. The base is heavy and sits on felt feet — if it gets bumped, it slides instead of tipping.
All wood, except for solid brass hardware and one steel bolt securing the base. Disassembles for travel and storage.
Sizes: alto, curved soprano, straight soprano, tenor, baritone, bass
Wood options: range of domestic and exotic hardwoods (see dropdown)
Lead time: 2–3 weeks
Baritone and bass stands made by request — message me before ordering.
