Will it fit my horn?
Built for standard Bb trumpet and cornet bells. The peg's narrowest point is 0.5", and the peg is adjustable so the bell can seat higher or lower along it, letting that 0.5" contact point land wherever the bell throat actually wants to rest. The horn hangs bell-down over a turned wooden peg with a rubber cap at the tip, so nothing metal touches the inside of the bell. If you play something less common — a flugelhorn, a rotary trumpet, a one-off build — send me the bell throat diameter and I will tell you whether it fits before you order.
Mounting
Two large screws into a stud, spaced 2" apart, into a 3" steel flange. The painted steel flange meets the wall on felt bumpers, so the wood face never carries the load.
